Good morning!!

After a very full weekend, Monday morning has arrived a bit more quickly than I was expecting...

Here is a little something to help ease you into the week!
(I wish that I were looking at this view instead of my computer monitor!!)

Curious coffee

Now, I'm all for a little flavour in my coffee every once in a while... some vanilla in a latte, a bit of caramel in a macchiato. But I think this might just be taking things a step too far:

Boca Java features a Maple Bacon Morning roast they claim is "reminiscent of a hearty Saturday morning breakfast" with flavours of maple syrup and bacon. And this isn't the only unusual flavour they offer - their menu also includes Atomic Peanut Butter Bomb and Bananas Foster. While I'm not going 'knock' them until I try them, I may give these a miss.

I'm much more inclined to try some of their other roasts which sound really deelish like Boca Sunrise or the Coastal Costa Rica blend which are roasted to order.
Top it off with their ethically sourced and socially responsible approach to doing business, I'm definitely going to give these beans a try!

Monday morning daydreams!

It's rainy, grey, and chilly here in Oxford ...
(and I'm finding it hard to believe its the middle of June!!)

Dreaming of warmer and sunnier places!

Looking forward to the weekend...

After a few grey, rainy days here in Oxford, I'm excited about the forecast of some sunshine for tomorrow morning.

Nothing is better on a Saturday morning than breakfast in the garden in the sunshine.

Have a lovely weekend!

Monday morning inspirations...

While searching around the web this morning (a.k.a. procrastinating from the things I SHOULD have been doing!), I stumbled across the most unusual coffee maker I've ever seen!

The Seppl porcelain coffee maker attaches to the wall which helps keep
the work space open, ideal for small kitchens.
